DL Leaflets

DL Leaflets are 1/3 of an A4 Sheet. (DL - 99mm X 210mm). In effect you have a 2 panel leaflet, front and back. DL Leaflets are normally printed on 300gsm gloss art material which means the finished leaflet has a slightly glossy look and feel to it.

Folded Leaflets

Folded leaflets are a clever way to optimise your marketing budget and economise on resources. First though you've got todecide which format suits you best, taking into account how much information you need to communicate. Our team of graphic designers are always on hand for you with helpful advice.

A4 sheets can be cut to size and folded into 4 page DL leaflets (2/3 of A4) or A4 sheets can be folded to 6 page DL leaflets (1/3 of A4).

There are two ways of folding an A4 sheet to DL size(DL: 99mm wide x 210mm). 'Z' fold or a 'Roll" Fold. The 'Z Fold' is when the document folds back on its self like a concertina effect, and the 'Roll Fold' is when the panels are folded over each other, and then folded inwards.

By folding an A4 sheet to DL you can create a front cover, an inside panel, then a folded out A4 sheet, plus a back cover. This A4 folding mechanism is just brilliant and helps to make your marketing message very versatile.

The most common paper type for this kind of leaflet is 170gsm gloss art, as this thickness doesn't need to be scored before folding. Scoring is done as a precaution like a pre-fold, which stops thicker material form cracking when it goes through the folding machine.
